I want to get in good enough shape that I could run a half marathon whenever I want without it being a big deal.

I am a receational runner and an outdoorsman. I believe that in order to fully enjoy my hobbies I need to be in good shape and have a healthy lifestyle.
I had a pretty good run this morning. My legs felt kind of sore at the beginning of the run though so I didn't push it too hard. I had a slow time. Other than that the run felt good.
